Honor Note 10: TENAA Listing Confirms Key Specifications, Features
According to the Honor Note 10 TENAA listing, the upcoming flagship phablet will sport a humongous 6.95-inch sized display with 1080 x 2220 Full HD+ resolution. As shown by leaked images of the phablet, the Honor Note 10 will not have a notch on the top. And the display resolution suggests the device will have an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, identical to Samsungflagship smartphones featuring an Infinity Display. This isn’t very surprising since rumors have suggested that the Super AMOLED display panel used on the Honor Note 10 has been sourced from Samsung. Under the hood, the Honor Note 10 will be powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor, just like all the other flagship Huawei and Honor smartphones released in the past few months. In the memory department, the device will apparently be available in 6GB and 8GB variants with multiple storage options – 64GB, 128GB, and 512GB. Memory expansion, however, isn’t likely to be supported.
Moving on to optics, the Honor Note 10 is listed to feature a 16MP + 24MP dual-camerasetup on the back. Similar to the Honor Note 10, we expect the primary 16MP RGB sensor as well as the secondary 24MP monochrome sensor to be coupled with f/1.8 aperture lenses. While the dual-camera setup at the rear will be almost identical to the Honor 10, the front-facing camera is listed to be a 13MP unit, a downgrade compared to the 24MP unit on the Honor 10. In terms of battery life, however, the Honor 10 will be significantly better than almost every other Honor smartphone released so far. While the rumor mill had been suggesting the Honor Note 10 will pack a 6000mAh capacity battery, the TENAA listing has actually revealed that the phablet comes with a 4900mAh capacity unit. Even though it isn’t as large as what the rumors had claimed, the Honor Note 10 will still have a bigger battery than almost all recent flagship smartphones. So if you are a power user, the Honor Note 10 should definitely be on your list. The Honor Note 10 will also include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Honor Note 10: Global Launch
While Honor will be launching the Note 10 in China this month, it is expected to hold a separate launch event for global markets. Honor has scheduled a global launch event on the 30th of August, so there is a small chance that the Honor Note 10 might go global before the end of next month. It is expected to be launched in India soon after the global announcement.
